We offer bereavement care and support for caregivers, families and
friends following a death or for those who anticipate a loss. Our
volunteers and staff offer one-on-one or group support and provide
information and referrals to other community services as needed.
Grief Support Groups: Pathways of Healing
Groups meet for 10 weeks.
One of the most helpful ways to cope with grief is by sharing your
story with others who have also experienced a loss. Your grief is
personal, but you're not alone. Our support groups enable you to connect
with others to receive understanding, acceptance and support in a safe
and compassionate environment.
A Grief Support Group will assist you in exploring and expressing the
many thoughts and feelings associated with the grief process. By
learning more about the nature of grief you can enhance your ability to
cope well with loss.
Our support groups are open to anyone who has experienced the death
of someone he/she loved and is seeking additional support You do not
need to have received other Hospice support to access our bereavement
Groups are facilitated by trained volunteers We ask that participants
commit to attending all sessions as group size is limited to 10
We keep a list of people's names who are interested in attending a
group and new groups begin when there are enough people enrolled.
All of our programs are offered without charge to participants thanks to the generosity of our donors and community partners.
